# Menu System
The TS100 firmware has a menu system built in to enable the changing of settings.
This is accessed by pressing the button near the rear of the item.
The menu is laid out with sub menu's to enable easier navigation.
Move through the menu using the button near the rear of the iron. Each press will progress through the menu.
Pressing the button near the front of the iron, will change the value of that setting, or enter the sub-menu.
To tell a sub menu apart, there will be an icon on the right hand side, rather than the value.
Pressing the front button on a sub menu will enter that menu.
If you press no buttons in ~3 seconds the unit will scroll across a longer description of the setting to hopefully provide more information.
Pressing both buttons at once will exit the menu, however this sometimes takes a few goes to get the feel of.
Holding either button will automatically repeat the action.
